Customer Rights

Your rights when you buy from us

A plain-English summary of your legal rights as a consumer, how returns work, and how we handle your data. This page doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

Right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

When you buy from us online, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason — this is a statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, simply contact us within that period using the details at the bottom of this page. Once you’ve told us you want to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to send the goods back to us.

Returning an item

If you’d like to return an item under the cancellation right above, please contact us first so we can confirm the returns address. Please send items back in the condition they were sent, with all accessories and original packaging where possible.

Unless the item is faulty or not as described, the cost of returning it is your responsibility. Once we receive the returned item, we’ll process your refund — including the original delivery charge, where applicable — within 14 days.

Faulty or misdescribed goods

Separately from the above, if an item you receive is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have further rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — which can include a repair, replacement, price reduction or full refund, depending on the circumstances and how long you’ve had the item. These rights apply to everything we sell, including ex-demo and pre-production units, and are never limited by any of our own policies on this page. Just get in touch and we’ll sort it out.

Ex-demo and pre-production units

Products listed on our Online Sales page are ex-demonstration or pre-production units, sold at a reduced price — each listing describes the unit’s condition and any cosmetic wear. We don’t offer an extended warranty beyond your statutory rights on these items, but they remain fully covered by the Consumer Rights Act protections described above.

How we handle your data

When you place an order, we collect the information needed to fulfil it — your name, delivery address, email and phone number if provided. We don’t sell this information, and we don’t use it for advertising or marketing.

Payment is handled directly by PayPal; we never see or store your card details. Our website is hosted on WordPress.com, whose Jetpack service records basic, aggregated visit statistics (such as general region) to help us understand overall site traffic — this doesn’t identify who has visited individually, and isn’t used for tracking or advertising.

We’re registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller. If you’d like to know what information we hold about you, or want it corrected or deleted, just get in touch using the details below.
